Shannon Lynn, M.D., earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville. She completed her residency at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St Louis in Internal Medicine. Dr. Lynn practices Internal Medicine at UL Medical Center East. My husband (also a patient of Dr Lynn) died recently after a prolonged illness. Dr. Lynn called me within days of the death to express her sympathy and say how much she and the office staff loved my husband. She also asked about me. When I came in for the office visit a month later, all three of the people I interfaced with spoke about my husband and showed care and concern. It matters and I so appreciated it.
