Save the date and buy your tickets early! The Kim Heath Hats for Hope Fashion Show, benefiting UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center, is Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Mellwood Art Center from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
As a preview to Derby season, the $100 ticket includes brunch, shopping and a Derby-themed fashion show featuring patients and providers from Brown Cancer Center. The fashion show is named in honor of a former Brown Cancer Center patient, Kim Heath. Kim was an inspiration to so many, including her team at Brown Cancer Center, who cared for her for six years while she faced metastatic melanoma. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Despite her diagnosis, she always thought of others.
The Hats for Hope Fashion Show fundraiser was Kim’s way of giving back to Brown Cancer Center. Her wish was to help others along their journey. All funds raised through the fashion show go back to Brown Cancer Center to help other patients facing a difficult diagnosis. Together, we can continue the work about which she was most passionate.
