Thursday – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
UofL Health — Brown Cancer Center is bringing breast cancer screening directly to those in the trucking industry. Brown Cancer Center will offer mobile mammogram screenings as well as other cancer screening education resources at the Mid-America Trucking Show, March 27-29 at the Kentucky Expo Center. Visit our booth in South Wing C near the food court.
The Mid-America Trucking Show is internationally recognized as the premiere event in the trucking industry. Held every year at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, it brings together professionals and businesses from all across the industry. The event features exhibits of the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, product and services, plus extensive industry-targeted education.
To qualify for a breast cancer screening on the mobile van, you must be:
- A woman age 40 or older
- Not have any current, active breast problems
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
- Not have breast implants
- Have a provider to whom the results can be sent
- Ability to stand and take the steps to access the van
- Not have had a mammogram in the last 12 months
We accept insurance, but you must have your insurance card and photo ID. Yearly mammograms are covered by Medicare and most insurance companies for women age 40 and older.
Special discounted rates are available for those without insurance.
