The M. Krista Loyd Resource Center was started with the help of a generous donation from Raymond Loyd in memory of his daughter, Krista Loyd. Today, his legacy is carried on through the SOAR On: Loyd Family Wellness Program. The M. Krista Loyd Resource Center is located on the first floor of the Brown Cancer Center downtown and houses many of the programs offered through SOAR On including massage therapy, art therapy, our information library and more.
Image Lab and Comfort Items
Inside the M. Krista Loyd Resource Center, our Image Lab offers a variety of wigs, scarves and hats. Our staff is available to help choose the right style and fit personalized to you. Each patient is eligible to receive one wig and two hats or scarves per year. Other comfort items, such as port pillows and blankets are also available. Ask your medical team if there are comfort items specific to your diagnosis available through the Resource Center.
