Having a brain injury raises the risk for potential complications - including increased risk of a subsequent brain injury. Please review this general list of recommendations for a person with a brain injury, and consult your physician for specific questions and concerns.
Community outreach and support groups
Join one of our monthly support groups for caregivers and survivors. Our support groups are designed to provide a place for you to build a supportive network for sharing common experiences. Sessions are led by a Frazier Rehab Brain Injury Program Team member. Support groups include:

Community Fitness and Wellness Center
The Community Fitness and Wellness Center is located at Frazier Rehab Institute. Individuals with disabilities can join this program to improve cardiovascular/ aerobic fitness, muscular strengthening and flexibility. The Community Fitness and Wellness Center is staffed by exercise science professionals and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Scholarships are available to support the membership fees for patients with a reduced ability to pay.
