UofL Health – Women’s Center at UofL Health – Mary & Elizabeth Hospital is an American College of Radiology Mammography Accredited Facility.
The Women’s Center offers:
- 3D mammography – screening and diagnostic
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast biopsy, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies
- Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA scan) – measures bone density
- Fracture risk assessment (FRAX) Tool – A FRAX score is used to determine a patient’s 10-year risk of major osteoporotic fracture
- General diagnostic ultrasounds including thyroid, renal, abdomen, pelvic and venous doppler
