On Wednesday, August 21 President Donald Trump will be in Louisville for two separate events. President Trump will visit The Galt House and Seelbach Hotel, with a scheduled arrival at 1:30 p.m. and departure at 5:30 p.m. During the President’s travel from the airport to downtown, numerous streets will be affected.  Please give yourself plenty of time when traveling downtown. Street parking will not be allowed on several streets surrounding UofL Hospital.

Here’s a list of specific streets that will be closed Wednesday, along with an estimated time frame:

  • Armory from Muhammad Ali to Liberty, All day
  • 3rd Street from River to Main – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Main Street from 2nd to 5th – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • 4th Street from Muhammad Ali to Chestnut – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Muhammad Ali from 3rd to 5th – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There will be No Parking/Stopping all day Wednesday on the following streets:

  • Brook Street from Broadway to Muhammad Ali
  • Alleyway between 4th and 5th behind the Seelbach
  • 1st Street from Broadway to Muhammad Ali
  • 2nd Street from Main to River
  • 3rd Street from River to Broadway
  • 4th Street from River to Broadway
  • 5th Street from Liberty to Chestnut
  • River Road from 6th Street to Witherspoon
  • Pay lot under I-64 on N. Preston – Restricted parking all day
  • N. Preston from Witherspoon to I-65 bridge
  • E. Witherspoon from N. Jackson to N. Clay
  • Main Street from 5th to 2nd Street
  • Main Street from Jackson to Hancock
  • Billy Goat Strut Alley from Brook to Floyd
  • N. Hancock from Main to Washington
  • Market from 5th to 3rd
  • Market from Jackson to Hancock
  • Congress Alley from 2nd to Floyd
  • S. Jackson from Jefferson to E Market
  • Jefferson from 5th to 3rd
  • Jefferson from Preston to Jackson
  • Liberty from 5th to 3rd
  • Liberty from Floyd to Preston
