Pain Management Consultants, LLC, is Now Part of UofL Health

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Jeffrey Berg, M.D., and Beth DeYoung, APRN, with Pain Management Consultants, LLC, have officially joined UofL Health, effective Nov. 3, 2025.

Dr. Berg has more than 35 years of experience as a pain management specialist and anesthesiologist in the Louisville area. He has helped his patients find relief from conditions such as spinal stenosis, intervertebral disc disease and sacroiliac joint disease. Dr. Berg received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at UofL and his residency in anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Beth DeYoung is dual-certified as a family nurse and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Her areas of interest include pain management, occupational medicine and psychiatry. Beth received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing. She completed her master’s degree and certifications from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Both providers will remain at their current practice location at 1169 Eastern Parkway, Suite 2211, in Louisville. The location will be rebranded to UofL Physicians – Pain Management Associates.
