LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Congratulations to UofL Health – UofL Hospital Environmental Services (EVS) for receiving top honors as the winner of Crothall Healthcare’s National Account of the Year for FY2024. UofL Hospital beat out more than 750 competing hospitals.
The team celebrated Jan. 23 in the UofL Health – Jackson Street Outpatient Center Auditorium. Many UofL Health team members gathered to celebrate and show their appreciation for the EVS staff.
To attain the award from Crothall (the contract vendor for EVS at UofL Hospital), the team first had to attain Platinum-Plus distinction. - Safety incident frequency rate (IFR) number below 2.80 (our score was 2.18)
- Successful Joint Commission survey emphasizing operational excellence
One in 10 accounts make it into this elite group.
From there, UofL Hospital was selected as a top pick from all the regional Platinum-Plus honorees by the regional vice president then picked by the division president to represent his division of 700 accounts. Ultimately, UofL Hospital was chosen by the CEO to receive the National Account of the Year award.
UofL Hospital has had a partnership with Crothall for more than 16 years. In 2024, UofL Hospital, in partnership with Crothall, implemented the “Power of Clean” program to create a culture of clean throughout the hospital.
