Amit Rout, M.D., is an interventional cardiologist at UofL Health with experience in general cardiology, advanced heart failure and complex coronary interventions, including high-risk PCI and mechanical circulatory support devices. He attended Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India for medical school and completed his internal medicine residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, followed by fellowships in advanced heart failure at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Louisville.
