Aneeta Bhatia, M.D., is an anesthesiologist at UofL Physicians – Anesthesiology and UofL Health – Jewish Hospital. Dr. Bhatia earned her bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She completed an internship with Gandhi Medical Hospital for Anesthesiology & General Surgery in Secunderabad, India. She went on to complete her medical degree at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India. At the Royal College of Anesthesiologists in London, England, she became a Fellow of the Faculty of Anesthetists of the Royal College of Surgeons. At the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Bhatia completed her residency in both perioperative medicine and anesthesiology, while also completing a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia. At University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Bhatia is the vice president of the medical staff and associate clinical professor in the department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. Her areas of interest include advanced heart failure, cardiac anesthesia and neuro anesthesia and brain health with a specialty in anesthesiology.
