This was my 1st visit with Dr. Gaitonde and I was very pleased with my visit and how he explained everything.

This was the easiest and most comfortable physician visit I have had in a long time. Attendants who were courteous and professional...a doctor (Dr. Gaitonde) who didn't speak to me as if I were illiterate...a doctor who went into great detail to explain my condition and explain the upcoming procedure.

This was my first visit with this provider. A first visit isn't enough to give an accurate assessment on many levels. I would have liked the doctor to have spent more time with me. But I do understand that their time is limited.

Dr.Gatonde is a super doctor who shows a true personal concern for my welfare.

After visit summary posted in My Chart and letter sent to my PCP contained documentation that did not occur during my visit. Examples: "bowel sounds all 4 quadrants, positive pedal pulses, no swelling in feet and ankles". These conditions among others that were documented simply were not examined during my visit! The provider never physically touched me to do any physical exam. Although this may seem minor to some; it speaks volumes to me regarding care, details and ethics. My normal provider at Louisville Cardiology always conducts a complete physical exam during a visit and never documents information that was not determined by an actual physical examination. There were errors in my medical history and in my reported symptoms. I was adamant that during the instances of tachycardia, I never once experienced chest pain or discomfort of any type (ie no left arm pain, no chest pain nor any back pain). None the less, the CPT code for chest pain was reported in the orders for testing to be conducted in the future as well as for Medicare billing for the visit. This is just wrong. If a physical examination is not conducted by the provider it simply should not be reported as having occurred. It is an okay judgment call if the provider feels it is not warranted; but the results of such a detailed exam if not completed should not be documented on the patient's medical record. I find this concerning. After the ordered tests are completed, I will only be discussing the results with my regular provider at Louisville Cardiology Associates. My Dr is very attentive efficient. I have very much confidence in him. I know he takes my health care very serious! I could not ask for a better Cardiologist! Quick to respond to my situation! He is outstanding!

Dr. Gaitonde is always very personable, professional, and available for any questions I may have. He also goes beyond to discuss issues I may have that may be unrelated to my visit. I could not be more pleased with him as my physician.

Physician was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He put me at ease over a relatively serious health problem.

The reason I did not see my provider within 15 minutes of my appointment time he was in surgery and running a little late. Otherwise I usually see him right away.

Dr. Gaitonde is brief concise and to the point. Very efficient and seems to care about my well being and is patient with me when I speak of concerns or new events.

Dr Gaitonde and staff are very courteous and empathetic to my needs. My cardio dr. Once again referred me to Dr G. He is very thorough and provides the information so I can understand. He takes the time to listen and answers all questions. He and staff are a pleasure to see.

The visit was very brief. Less than 15mins. Would have liked another ekg just to compare to previous and for him to listen to my heart longer than 3 seconds. Not questioning his expertise but just to reassure me all is really ok
