Robert V. Emmons, M.D., FACP

Robert V. Emmons, M.D., FACP, is a hematologist-oncologist with the Blood Cancers, Cellular Therapeutics & Transplant Program at UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center. He specializes in the care and treatment of patients with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma and patients undergoing a stem cell transplant. Being part of a unique program that is one of two adult bone marrow transplant programs in the state, Dr. Emmons offers the latest treatments such as CAR T-cell therapy and clinical trials for blood cancers and other rare blood diseases. Dr. Emmons received his medical degree from University of Cincinnati, completed residency in internal medicine at University of Michigan and completed a fellowship in hematology from the National Institutes of Health.
