Rodolfo A. Zamora, M.D.
Rodolfo A. Zamora, M.D., is an orthopedic oncologist with interests in robotic arthroplasty, orthopedic trauma surgery, and orthopedic oncology. He specializes in trauma surgery, and cancer care including sarcoma and other bone/soft tissue cancers. Dr. Zamora came to Louisville in 2014 to complete his fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery with the University of Louisville Medical School and then an orthopedic oncology fellowship at the University of Washington. He joined UofL Health – UofL Physicians and UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center in 2016. He completed his medical degree and residency at the University of Chile. He is also on the faculty of the University of Louisville School of Medicine as an Associate Professor in the department of orthopedics and current Interim Chair.Education & Training

Even tho my results from the mri was do to obgyn issues the doctor did not mention the findings from the mri. So that was a concern but I will meet with the obgyn next week July 28.

This visit was to get the results of a biopsy. Unfortunately it was not good news. The mass is a sarcoma. Dr. Zamora was very receptive to my wishes to start treatment immediately and the next two appmts have already been set up (radiation doctor and CT to make sure it has not spread.) I do believe I am in good hands with Dr. Zamora.
