I will comment that my visit to the office was great, everything was explained in a way I understood everything she was doing, I didn't feel confused or misunderstood, and the provider was very kind and respectful

I received an email to update my information prior to my visit in My Chart, but when I arrived to the office they said that information is not able to cross over. I would just suggest not having people fill that information out if the office is unable to retrieve it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Petruska for over 10 years, however after this visit, I will be finding another obgyn. Since I got married in 2021, I have been discussing possible family planning with. Dr. Petruska, she informed me that there are no medical checks or test she can run to see If I can carry a baby untill I stop taking the bc pill and start ttc. In june 22 I stopped the pill and informed her of this in my annual appointment with Dr. Petruska. I also informed her that I hadnt had my menses since I stopped the pill. She told me this happens sometimes and to give it a while and if I dont have it to come back. I came back in 6 months- this recent appointment. I arrived within a minute of the 15 min window of my appointment time and Dr. Petruska made me wait an additional hour and 10 minutes. She first had the student come in and ask me the same questions she eventually asked. I was appalled and disheartened when she basically told me its my decision if ai really want a baby to either keep trying or go to a fertility specialist. She gave me no medical advice at all. Didnt suggest I try new things etc. I had to ask for the prescription that is known to assist with restarting menses. I am ultimately dissapointed that after being a long standing patient that shows up on time if not early after, that I was treated this way and then given no medicall advice. I feel I was seeing strictly to bill my insurance. The last insult to injury from this visit was Dr. Petruskas post visit notes to my pcp. It had a tone of scolding me to my pcp and insinuated I did not follow her plans. This really insulted me.
