Our UofL Health – Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement program is designed to offer weekend warriors and high school athletes the best performance enhancement and recovery services using the latest innovative technology, advanced techniques and evidence-based research.

Services and Fees
Movement Analysis $60/60 min.
Follow-up Analysis Recommended ~4 Weeks
A Movement Analysis is a comprehensive evaluation of your body’s functional movement to identify deficiencies and instabilities but also see areas where you are moving well. Once all of the information is collected a personalized home program will be given and/or emailed to you addressing the dysfunctional movement patterns in an effort to help performance and decrease the chances of injury. A follow-up evaluation is recommended roughly four weeks later to check the movement patterns, note gains that have been made, deficiencies that may still exist and progress corrective exercises as needed.

Movement Correctives $45/45 min.
Movement or Return-to-Play Analysis Required, 1-2x per Week is Recommended A session of Movement Correctives encompasses a variety of exercises and treatments addressing the different weaknesses and dysfunctional movement patterns keeping you from being your best. We can fix deficient movements through the Functional Movement Screen exercises, Total Motion Release therapy and various other corrective measures. Scar tissue build up over the years of muscles being broken down and repaired can be addressed with Soft Tissue Mobilization therapy allowing for more flexibility and muscle function. Once the muscles are working properly and moving well, we can strengthen them with Blood Flow Restriction therapy which stimulates a growth hormone response.

If you want a quick trip in and out knowing what works for you and your busy schedule, the Recover and Go session may be best. Choose a couple of therapies from our various options.

DARI Motion Capture Session $60/60 min.
DARI is an FDA approved motion capture platform and UofL Health Sports Medicine is the only provider in the area to have this technology! It is a system that uses eight cameras without markers creating a virtual skeleton to analyze movement. DARI is a dynamic system that assesses mobility, balance, motion age and sport readiness such as weight shifting imbalances, force and jump height. This state-of-the-art system objectively identifies where you are moving well, but also shows deficiencies where improvements can be made. Once all of the movements are complete, our sports medicine providers will analyze the results and create a corrective program addressing any deficiencies.
Return-to-Play Analysis $75/75-90 min.
Return-to-Play Analysis with DARI Motion Capture $120/2 hours
Follow-up Analysis Recommended ~4 Weeks
Have you had a recent injury and have gotten or seeking full clearance by a physician but not sure if you are ready for the requirements needed for your sport? Our return-to-play analysis will take a look at all of this in a comprehensive process using a variety of assessments and tests. We want to help minimize the chance of a re-injury by returning to sport to soon and possibly help prevent a new one. After the session we will review all of results showing strengths, weaknesses, give recommendations and a return-to-play fitness plan if needed.

Recovery Session $45/45 min.
Have you had a tough week of training or sore after a game or race that pushed you to the max? Come in and let us help you recover like a pro with a customized recovery program! We have a variety of treatments to get those tight muscles loose again with soft tissue mobilization techniques and vibrating massage tools. In addition to that we can facilitate lymphatic drainage and muscle relaxation with Compex Training Recovery, Manual Electrical Stimulation, Normatec compression therapy and Kinesio tape. If there is an extra sore spot we can finish with a Game Ready treatment providing cold and compression to the area. When several of these therapies are combined into one session there is no doubt you will be feeling better and ready for your next challenge!
