If you or a loved one has dementia, the University of Louisville Trager Institute Republic Brank Foundation Optimal Aging Clinic offers unique and specialized services to support your needs through its brain health clinic. This clinic is staffed by UofL Health – UofL Physicians providers, who are experts in their fields as doctors and researchers. Even without a diagnosis, the clinic can provide assessments to confirm or rule out dementia.
Caregiver Support
Trager Institute
Caring for someone with memory disorders can be overwhelming. The Trager Institute offers an extensive caregiver program, including education and support groups.
Peace Hospital
UofL Health – Peace Hospital hosts periodic events for caregivers and community members to interact with one another and learn about support options. For more information, please call 502-451-3333.
Peace Hospital also offers a Geriatric Inpatient Program for senior adults, age 55 and older. The program provides treatment for a range of mental health and substance use disorders, including agitation associated with dementia.
