Catarina de Marchi Assuncao, M.D., is a neurophysiologist with UofL Physicians – Neurology, part of UofL Health – Brain & Spine Institute. Dr. de Marchi is also an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at University of Louisville School of Medicine. Her areas of interest include electroencephalograms, electromyography, neuromuscular disorders and seizures and epilepsy. Dr. de Marchi received her medical degree from Universidade Positivo in Brazil. She completed her residency in adult neurology at University of Louisville and her fellowship in neurophysiology at UTHealth Houston.
