Elisabeth Volpert, APRN
Elisabeth Volpert, APRN, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville School of Nursing. For over twelve years she has upheld an established internal medicine practice at the University of Louisville where she provides evidence-based care by independently assessing, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses. She lectures in The University of Louisville Doctoral Nursing Program. She has presented several primary care case studies at state and national conferences pertaining to value-based care, reimbursement, clinical assessment and laboratory protocols. Elisabeth represents the American Nurses Association on the Resource-Based Relative-Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) Health Care Professionals Advisory Committee and on the RUC’s Practice Expense Subcommittee. Outside of work, Elisabeth enjoys cycling and spending time with her husband and two daughters.Education & Training

We are new to KY and very impressed with Elisabeth Volpert. My adult daughter is disabled and complex medically so we spend a lot of time navigating health systems. U of L is impressive and starkly different than other experiences we have had. She has gotten into specialists quickly. We have been treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. When I call about a billing question, I talk to real live people. It seems to me that you all have worked on building a true healthCARE culture. Keep it up! Elisabeth Volpert has been amazing shepherding the referrals my daughter and both need. She is fantastic!
