Megan Nelson, M.D.
Megan B. Nelson, MD, is a cancer rehabilitation physician working with specialty providers to help coordinate rehabilitation efforts within oncology and across the UofL Health system. As a cancer survivor herself, Dr. Nelson has particular interest in the unique functional needs of cancer patients. She works with oncologists and the comprehensive cancer team serving patients from initial diagnosis, throughout treatment, and after treatment. She treats the whole patient, including musculoskeletal and neurological complaints, neuropathic pain, spasticity, lymphedema, fatigue and overall quality of life.Education & Training

Dr. Nelson is treating trigger points that cause intense pain. The treatment is truly helping. I am thankful she understands the pain I am in and that she is helping me. She is very skilled. Dr. Nelson, her assistant, and all the staff are helpful and kind. I know each time I have an appointment I will feel better when I leave!

This office over all is fabulous. I seen Megan for the headaches I have. Kim meyers in the office with nuero surgeons is the one who said these procedures would be good for me. Megan was fabulous. Great/ fun bedside and very informative. If anyone needs brain surgery and additional treatments after such a surgery they should only use this office. Wonderful staff. I honestly feel they really do care. All of them.
