Expression of Illness

Join us for the Louisville premiere of the documentary Expression of Illness, directed by Bryn Silverman & produced by Naveen Chaubal. Enjoy pre-screening lite bites and beverages as well as a post-screening panel discussion with local providers and cancer survivors. This film captures the importance of self-advocacy in health care as well as the value of community with others touched by cancer. Anyone connected to cancer is encouraged to attend.
Dr. Mahsa Javid, UofL Health endocrine surgeon and surgical oncologist, will participate in the panel discussion following the screening of the documentary “Expression of Illness,” a story of self-advocacy and the value of community on a cancer journey.
