Hiring For:

  • RN Float Mixed Acuity: Floating each shift to Complex Medical/Trauma units within the hospital. Base pay rate is $55/hour for RN Float Mixed Acuity. Shift differential is $4.25/hour when working 4 or more hours from 3 p.m.-7 a.m.
  • RN Float Critical Care: Floating each shift to Intensive Care units & Complex Medical/Trauma units within the hospital. Base pay rate is $57/hour for RN Float Critical Care. Shift differential is $4.25/hour when working 4 or more hours from 3 p.m.-7 a.m.

Shift Options:

  • 7 p.m.-7 a.m. at all facilities
  • 7 a.m.-7 p.m. available only at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute or Jewish Hospital
  • Full-Time or Part-Time; PRN not available

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of RN acute inpatient experience in: Mixed Acuity/PCU areas for RN Float Mixed Acuity & ICU areas for RN Float Critical Care
  • Required for UofL Hospital new hires only: All new-hire Associate degree RNs are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire
