Employee Emergency Fund | Philanthropy

Be a hero's hero.

Going through the COVID-19 pandemic together brought into stark relief how important accessible quality health care is to our community.  Every single one of our UofL Health employees is essential to providing that care. No matter the personal risk, they continue to show up for us every day. But what about when they need help? That’s where the Employee Emergency Fund and you come in.

The UofL Health – Foundation created the fund to help after catastrophic incidents, such as a fire, natural disaster, illness or even death. The fund provides financial assistance to UofL Health team members and their families who have experienced such emergencies and have resulting financial hardship. To continue providing this needed and much deserved support, the Employee Emergency Fund needs help from people like you.

Even our health care heroes need heroes sometimes. Please consider donating today.

“I see first-hand the immense challenges that our employees can face when a crisis or tragedy strikes. I also see how life-changing an Employee Emergency Fund grant can be. These grants have prevented homelessness, helped with transportation and food, and allowed employees to care for ailing or dying relatives.
