Angela Allen, APRN

This was the most professional lady (Angela Allen) I have ever met. She listens to the patient and immediately gets right to finding out what is going on with her patient; making the experience comfortable and not fearful are nervous or embarrassed about health questions.

I love Angela Allen as my health care provider. She pays close attention to my health needs. I really can't put into words what that means to me. I'm very thankful to have found her.

My visit on 9/5 was the first time I had to wait over a hour to be seen. Usually, I seen within 15 minutes of checking in.

Did have some blood test after the visit but I haven't heard of the results.

Angela is apparently new to this practice. She was professional and thorough. I had called Dr. Nguyen earlier and explained my symptoms and how I was self-medicating. The person I spoke with consulted Dr. Nguyen who told me to take Mucinex Instead of Robitussin DM which I did. When after five days the sputum I was coughing up turned from clear thin liquid to thinker greenish color, I called again and was told I needed to be seen and scheduled appointment for next day. My antique Subaru would not start In time to get to that appt so I notified office and was told I could come later. AAA installed new battery and I got there in time. I called back soon after I signed in. I discussed symptoms with Angela who after examining me ordered blood work and chest X-ray. Lab tech was very nice and we reminisced about the original Jefferson Medical Associates. I got results before I left. Angela prescribed Prednisone 10 mg to be taken for 5 days. It was called into my pharmacy and I picked it up on way home. She also called in another script which I needed for another concern. I am feeling much better and am taking about half the Mucinex I had been taking. I am coughing less and am not as congested. I really like the new option of being able to ask a medical question when you call for an appointment. It is much more efficient than calling and leaving a message for Dr. Nguyen's assistant who when she gets It will relay the question to the doctor and then call me back after she gets a reply from doctor.

First time with this provider. She was very friendly and professional. Took time to explain my problems and solutions to fix them

Dr Allen was wonderful. I had a health issue that needed to be seen in the ER. I got a call the day after my appt..the nurse that called was very nice and kept me calm during the call because I was scared to death.
