As is always the case, Dr Hittepole provides attentive and thorough care. She is the best Primary Care Physician I have ever been to.

She (Dr. Bridget Hittepole) reviews the chart before speaking to me so that she understands the purpose of the visit as well as my history. This makes me feel like I receive personal attention. She notes that I do not like to take meds if I can avoid it and she helps me work out a treatment plan that I am comfortable with. She makes me feel she has my best interest at heart and always listens to my concerns.

I've been seeing Dr. Hittepole for 13 years and she has always listened, been very thoughtful of her answers and suggestions for care, and never made me feel ashamed or guilty for not being a perfectly healthy individual.

I have always had a good experience at this office.

1) Questions about calling people but not including MyChart don't make a lot of sense in my case as I use MyChart, so my answers to those questions are probably not reliable.2) The medical technician asked 1 random question about depression but not the PHQ-2, even after me following up that it appeared to me the practice replaced the PHQ by something else and she telling me that she asked more questions when I answer the first 2 questions in a particular way (to be clear, she didn't ask the first 2 questions). I find that amazing becauseA) we live in a time of a rising number of mental health crisesB) you charge health insurances for doing the depression screening. So not training your personal appropriately results in insurance fraud.

For the physical space- I was able to hear every word of the conversation between the provider and the patient in the room next to mine. I now know this person's name, entire medical history, current issues that they are dealing with, and the providers recommendation plan. This is extremely concerning to me as interactions between patient and provider should be confidential. For the provider- I have heard multiple words of praise about Dr. Hittepole's intelligence and abilities, which is why I initially came to this clinic. While I would agree that she is knowledgeable, I think that her bedside manner could use some work. During my visit, I felt as though she wasn't listening to my concerns/questions and was very dismissive towards me.

I had a student dr come in. He asked a lot of different questions. I had told him about a fall I had. What he wrote was not what I said. I think when Dr. Hittepole read what he wrote she thinks I blacked out when I told him I tripped and fell. Not blacked out

I didn't feel valued and as if I am not trying hard to make changes for my health. I explained my frustration with take a diabetic medication and the symptoms I feel but was not taken seriously. It left me feeling angry and disappointed.

I went to this doctor because I wasn't meshing or vibing with the other U of L Physician. She came recommended as someone who listens to your patient and understands female reproductive systems. She listened to my concerns and we talked about ways to help my mental and physical health. She completed blood work and tests to see what my levels were.

I have had this provider for sometime but I was never really comfortable with her. She came across as condescending. I decided to get another primary care doctor so I left before actually seeing her
