Brittney M. Richardson, M.D.
Brittney M. Richardson, M.D., was born in Baton Rouge and raised in Independence, a small town in southeast Louisiana. After completing her undergraduate education and graduating Summa Cum Laude from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2009, she matriculated at University of Louisville School of Medicine. Due to the vast opportunities here in Louisville, Dr. Richardson remained in town to complete both her residency in Family Medicine and a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship. During training, she was named the Stephen F. Wheeler Intern of the Year and served as chief resident, and ultimately decided to take a position as a Family and Sports Medicine faculty member.Education & Training

Everyone there was courteous and had good bedside manner. They took X-rays and evaluated my son's injured left arm, said it was not broken, and cleared him for sports. Today (2.5 weeks later) I took him to pediatric orthopedist for follow up on a different injury (8 month old right arm fracture). She took X-rays of both arms, and the left clearly shows a 2-3 week old radius fracture. Somehow your staff did not diagnose him properly, and he's been playing soccer and doing everything else with an uncasted fractured left arm.
