Elisabeth Volpert, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, FAANP

Elisabeth Volpert, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, FAANP, is an Associate Professor at the University of Louisville School of Nursing. For more than sixteen years, she has maintained a well-established family medicine practice at the University of Louisville, where she delivers evidence-based care through independent assessment, diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. She lectures in the University of Louisville Doctoral Nursing Program and serves as the coordinator for Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) projects. Elisabeth has presented numerous primary care case studies at state and national conferences, focusing on topics such as value-based care, reimbursement strategies, clinical assessment and laboratory protocols. Elisabeth represents the American Nurses Association on the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RUC) Health Care Professionals Advisory Committee and the RUC Practice Expense Subcommittee. Outside of her professional role, Elisabeth enjoys cycling and spending quality time with her husband and two daughters.
