After obtaining my BSN from the University of Louisville in 2013, Maria Carr, MSN, APRN, CNM worked in Labor and Delivery as an RN for 3 years and volunteered as a full-spectrum doula. She then trained in full-scope birth center and hospital-based midwifery care, obtaining her MSN from Frontier Nursing University. After 5 years gaining experience in Pennsylvania in gynecology, obstetrics, health care administration and gender-affirming health care, she has finally returned home to practice full-scope midwifery care as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Louisville, KY.Education & Training
