Excellent provider (Dr. Michael Sowell). He listened to what I had to say and responded with confirmation and asked questions as needed. I always felt that he was talking with me and not "down" to me.

Dr. Sowell is one of my favorite specialists; He's been so understanding about my inability to try more expensive migraine meds. Dr. Sowell has helped me get the best result with the triptans I can afford for my migraines.

Dr. Sowell was very condescending. He has horrible bedside manner. He rolled his eyes or looked off when talking to me. Didn't take into consideration my previous diagnosis but maybe he didn't have those notes in my records. May have built in biases. Lack's compassion & empathy.

I feel frustrated by my care routine, and that my provider doesn't listen to my concerns. I had additional concerns this time which must not have been important because no one addressed them directly? I'm re-trying a medication I've been on three times in the past. Is this the best approach? When he told me to go to ER as my next step I felt very disconnected from my doctor and who I thought was my next step during a migraine episode. So, although I thought I presented my concerns about my health, it will take another 3 months to see if anything changes again. I understand having residents & students, and I welcome that, but then he needs to at least read the information to know what's going on when he joins us. I was frustrated before my visit because I'm still having daily headaches. Then during a cyclical episode, no one was available for help for over a week via phone. Hence the ER reference. I appreciate the positive steps we have taken, and Dr Sowell generally seems to be a nice person.

I was pleased with Dr Sowell and have been following his lectures on utube and his links he suggested to watch for information. I enjoyed his mannerism. Straight forward to the point
