I have gained new views on my problems. I feel like our meetings are opening the eyes to my brain. Absolutely new perspectives.

I saw Dr. Eells and my visit was wonderful. He had been on vacation for 2 weeks, and the time before that I had to cancel my appointment bc the person who was supposed to cover me at work went home early right before my appointment, and bc I would have been pointed for going ahead with my appointmentI cancelled even though I didn't want to. You see, I was in a really, really, really bad place mentally before I started seeing Dr. Eells. I had a truly terrible time trying to find someone that would take me. All the therapists I called (found on pysychology today.com) were full. I left pleading messages for help. Some called me back, some did not. My psychiatrist Dr. Wright, (who I love) recommend Dr. Eells. I was nervous. I wanted a female. I am historically more comfortable with females for physiciansbut literal beggars could not afford to be choosers at that point. I'm so glad I gave him a chance. Because he, Dr. Wright, and a gynecologist that I work with saved my life. I'm a completely different person than I was 2 months ago. I look forward to all of our sessions even though they often leave me feeling as though I've worked out physically. I'm learning, growing, and changing every day bc of this Dr's help and care. I have had multiple traumas in my life regarding males who were supposed to love me. When Dr. Eells found out I had a very unhealthy view of the relationship dynamic between a man and a woman he made it clear to me that I always have the right to say no! Even nowas an adult. He told me that there may come a time in our sessions that he may ask me a question that I'm not ready or willing to answer and to know that that would always be ok. I was safe. I've never felt more safe with a man outside of my own dad in ALL of my life. Top tier, this man. A gem. 20 out of 10. Sincerely,
