The annual Nightingale 5K honors the memory of Steve Bolton, a nurse at UofL Hospital who was killed in a hunting accident. Steve was loved by patients, staff and anyone who crossed his path. Since his death, the Steve Bolton Fund was established to raise money to further education for the nursing staff at UofL Hospital.
