Leigh Rae Kmiec gets her annual mammogram screening every year at the Kentucky State Fair. In 2017, she was diagnosed with breast cancer during her visit, but early detection and treatment saved her life. UofL Health annually offers free health screenings at the Kentucky State Fair. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Brown Cancer Center’s Mobile Mammography van being at the event.
