When someone is experiencing chest pain, it’s important that they seek help quickly to rule out a possible heart attack. By offering chest pain observation services, UofL Health – Medical Center East can be there for patients around the clock, ensuring they get the help they need.
Chest pain observation services are available to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week providing prompt diagnosis and high-quality treatment. If determined medically necessary, a full cardiac evaluation will be completed on the same day or shortly after discharge. Through our thorough heart assessment, UofL Health – Medical Center East can diagnose or rule out an acute cardiac event.
