Lal Tanwani, M.D.

Dr. Tanwani is respectful and straightforward about how I can best manage my type 1 diabetes. He always listens to my concerns and gives helpful guidance on how to deal with these issues. I would and have recommended Dr. Tanwani to several of my friends and colleagues.

Dr. Tanwani saved my life when I had a severe reaction. I have been under his care since 2012 when that happened. He is a credit to the medical profession, and I would never change if I had a choice.

A mistake was made on my Levothyroxine. I found out on my last appointment that the mistake caused an increase from 150 mcg to 225 mcg's. I did receive a call with the lab results 90 day's ago that said Dr. Tanwani was increasing the dosage! I was told by Dr. Tanwani that a mistake had been made in the office!

Overall. Excellent people to take care of me. So much professional excellence.

I have had this issue for 10 years. I have seen several different Dr and referrals. He was that first person other than my regular Dr to listen to me and explain what the next moves were. He scheduled me an appointment with a surgeon, to address 4 other issues that him and my cardiologist found.

My appointment was at 11:10. I was called back around 11:35. The doctor didn't come in the room until 12:25. No apologies given. He barely spoke to me. Worst doctor I have ever seen. No people skills, caring or compassion. This is my last time coming here. It was the only endocrinologist I could get an appointment with when my thyroid issues began. Laura from his office is terrific, trying to make up for Tanwani's shortcomings.
