Overview

UofL Health – Medical Center Southend is a three-story medical plaza on Dixie Highway which is the newest ambulatory site in the UofL Health system. Medical Center Southend is home to:

• Two UofL Physicians – Primary Care practices with nine providers caring for patients of all ages.
• The UofL Physicians – Outpatient Diagnostic Center, a 6,000 square-feet center housing state-of-the-art medical imaging technology. As this center is part of UofL Physicians, pricing for certain procedures may be offered at lower costs as opposed to hospital-based imaging. For some patients, this provides an affordable option for less-acute diagnostic and imaging needs.
• UofL Health – Frazier Rehab Sports offering physical therapy for adults and adolescents for sports medicine injury/recovery, cancer care, orthopedic/spine rehab, including functional dry needling.
• Newly opened UofL Physicians – Orthopedics practice with four specialists providing a full range of orthopedic and sports medicine needs.
• Newly opened UofL Health – Sports Medicine Urgent Care after hours clinic.

Future plans for Medical Center Southend include the development and opening of another UofL Health – Urgent Care Plus to provide additional primary care and urgent care options to the community.
