Living Kidney Donor Transplant Program

Choosing to become a living kidney donor means offering someone else a second chance at life. Living kidney donation is the best option for someone facing a kidney transplant, providing a healthier organ, a shorter wait time and often better long-term outcomes compared to deceased donor transplants. Your decision reflects incredible generosity and courage, and it has the power to change a life forever.

Getting a Second Opinion

If you’ve been told you may need a transplant, or that one may not be possible, getting a second opinion can bring clarity and hope.

At Trager Transplant Center, we welcome patients who want to explore all their options. Our team of experts will review your records, answer your questions and help you understand your choices.

Want a second opinion? Fill out our referral form, and our team will contact you.

Organ Donation Saves Lives

In addition to transplantation, Trager Transplant Center is actively involved with efforts to increase awareness of the need for organ donation. Unfortunately, due to the lack of donated organs, many people never receive lifesaving transplants.

Although you may never need a transplant, you can pass on the gift of life by registering to become an organ donor today.
