Matthew C. Bozeman, M.D.

Matthew C. Bozeman, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery’s Division of Trauma, Critical Care at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Bozeman performed his general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Additionally, while completing his residency, Dr. Bozeman also completed the Nestle Enteral Nutrition Fellowship. Dr. Bozeman played a crucial role in the development of the expanded and renovated Burn Center at UofL Hospital, which opened in 2018 with him as the assistant medical director. He has published more than 17 articles in the medical/scientific literature and two book chapters. Dr. Bozeman has been a fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 2017 and is a current member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
