Russell Baker, DPM
Russell Baker, DPM is originally from Chapin, South Carolina, a small rural town where he grew up on his family’s tree farm. He graduated from Chapin High School and went on to enroll and graduate from Wofford College in South Carolina, where he competed in Cross Country Track & Field with a double major in Biology and Spanish. Dr. Baker went on to graduate from the 4-year Podiatric Medical School program at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, followed by his completion of a 3-year surgical Residency in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the level 1 trauma center at the UofL Hospital. Dr. Baker stayed at the UofL Hospital for a year-long Fellowship training in Lower Extremity Foot & Ankle Trauma, Reconstruction, Diabetic Limb Salvage and Sports Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Baker enjoys running local races, playing in local tennis leagues with his wife, tending to his vegetable garden and trying local donut shops when he travels.Education & Training
