Area of greatest need
These gifts are vital as they enable funding to go directly to the area of most immediate need. If you would like to know more about funding a specific cancer type or clinic, please reach out to our Development Team.
Patient care and support
M. Krista Loyd Resource Center
Gifts to the Resource Center help connect patients and family members with the services needed to achieve the best possible experience including transportation, lodging, prosthetics, wigs, holistic and art therapy, additional supplies and education. Transportation and lodging are essential needs for most cancer patients receiving ongoing treatment. Unfortunately, lodging and transportation can often be the largest barriers to receiving treatment.

Owen's Wish
Owen’s Wish to Support Immunotherapy Research
Gifts to Owen’s Wish support building an immunotherapy and immunology program at UofL Health - Brown Cancer Center. Owen McMasters died February 15, 2016, of leukemia knowing that the science that could have cured him of his cancer was right at our doorstep. Owen’s Wish was that no other children (or adults) would have to endure the ravages of cancer and its treatment without a meaningful chance to be cured. Cancer immunotherapy has revolutionized the treatment of many types of cancer by harnessing the power of our immune system to eradicate cancer. The Owen’s Wish Fund will allow us to develop a world-class group of scientists and physicians dedicated to advancing the field of cancer immunotherapy and providing state-of-the-art immunotherapy care for patients in our region. Why should you support immunotherapy research? Learn more about the science behind immunotherapy and what the future of immunotherapy looks like. If you would like to know more about other opportunities to fund immunotherapy, please contact our Development Team.
