The UofL Health – APP Fellowship is a 12-month postgraduate training for advanced practice providers in the acute care setting.
Program Overview
- For new or experienced acute care certified APRN or PA
- Two Fellows hired per year
- Salary and benefits are provided
- Nine months on core rotations and three months of elective time
- Opportunity to earn advanced certifications and CEs
Candidate Requirements
- Has graduated from an approved graduate program
- Has taken and passed licensing examination
We will being accepting applications for January 2025 cohort in June 2024.

- Critical Care/Pulmonary
- Anesthesia Critical Care
- Nephrology
- Transplant Nephrology
- Infectious Diseases
- Cardiovascular ICU
- Adult Cardiac Surgery
- Trauma
Elective Rotations
Elective Rotations Include:
- Urology
- Orthopedics
- Neurosurgery
- Hep C Clinic
- Palliative Care
- Inpatient Diabetic Care
- Interventional Radiology
- Emergency Room
- Heart Failure/VAD/Transplant
