UofL Health – Frazier Rehab Institute is a 15-story, state-of-the-art, inpatient acute rehab facility located on the downtown Louisville medical campus. The facility includes select outpatient therapy programs, as well.
Accredited by the Joint Commission, Frazier combines clinical expertise with a unique and well-equipped facility to offer the most advanced rehab therapies in an attractive, comfortable environment. Features include:

Our treatment areas have been specifically designed and equipped to serve the therapeutic needs of our patients. Frazier’s therapeutic approaches and equipment address problems related to balance, sitting, mobility, self-care, vision, cognition, behavior, emotions, communication and swallowing. Each patient receives an individualized multi-disciplinary evaluation and treatment plan that may include the use of the following interventions to achieve mutual goals:
- Functional electrical stimulation
- Dynavision for visual perception
- Biometrics for upper extremity rehab
- Upper extremity robots for improved movement
- Fluoroscopy and endoscopy for swallow evaluation
- Ramps, curbs, stairs and parallel bars for ambulation therapy
