Victor Anciano, M.D.
Victor Anciano, M.D., is an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon with UofL Health – UofL Physicians – Orthopedics. Dr. Anciano has a special interest and training in sports injuries, trauma and foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as diabetic wounds and Charcot reconstruction. He is part of the orthopedic care team for University of Louisville Cardinal Athletics. Dr. Anciano is a graduate of Earlham College and received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his orthopedics residency at the University of Virginia, and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C.Education & Training

Dr. Anciano is always relaxed, takes time to answer all of my questions, and is truly present during each visit. He even did this on my day of surgery when he was already running behind and could have understandably wanted to rush the conversation. Every interaction with him has been a positive one. Highly recommend!

Excellent Doctor. Is going to do surgery on my foot. He gave me options, other than surgery. I am opting on surgery. Dr Anciano has excellent credentials. That's why went to him.

Dr. Anciano is a great surgeon and has a very good bedside manner. He is very compassionate and talks to you in layman's terms. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I feel very fortunate to have had him operate on my broken ankle!!!!
