Located on a 19-acre campus, UofL Health – South Hospital provides outpatient services and 24/7 emergency care to residents in fast-growing Bullitt County and the surrounding service area including Southern Jefferson County, Spencer, Nelson, Meade and Hardin counties. The facility includes a 48,000 square-foot medical center and a 25,000 square-foot medical office building.
The hospital offers a full range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, chest pain observation services, outpatient surgery, 3D mammography and diagnostics/medical imaging. The medical office building houses both primary care and specialty physician offices, a Frazier Rehab Institute outpatient rehab facility and the Larry Belcher Community Room which can be scheduled for use by local community groups on a complimentary basis.
Supporting South Hospital and patients in the Bullitt County area are UofL Physicians primary care physicians and specialists including cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopedics and vascular surgery. Providers are located both on the South Hospital campus and in nearby communities.
