The multidisciplinary Endocrine team specializes in cancers of the hormone-producing glands of the endocrine system including the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas, intestines and pituitary glands. While most endocrine tumors are benign (non-cancerous), some will become cancerous. Endocrine tumors are much less common than other types of cancers.
The good news is that when you choose UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center, you are choosing the team that offers the latest in surgical techniques, radiation therapy, drug therapies and clinical trials.
Our physicians use innovative technologies and personalized medicine to provide our patients with the best possible chance of a cure.
